Founded in 2020 by Anders Bech Jensen and Anders Aaen Thordal Hansen, Novitio is a digital sales enablement platform designed specifically for organisations operating within the circular IT economy. The platform helps ITADs, leasing companies, value-added resellers, distributors, OEMs and reverse logistics providers manage the sale of used IT equipment in a more structured, transparent and efficient way.
Solving a longstanding industry challenge
Novitio was born from a simple observation: as the value and complexity of secondary IT transactions increased, the systems used to manage them often failed to keep pace.
The platform was created to bring inventory management, buyer engagement, compliance documentation and transaction reporting into a single ecosystem, helping organisations improve transparency, strengthen compliance, generate sustainability reporting and create full transaction traceability while reducing administrative workload. The result is a more streamlined sales process that enables teams to spend less time on administration and more time creating value.
Built for fairness, transparency and efficiency
A key differentiator is Novitio’s approach to bidding. Rather than operating as a traditional auction platform with endless bidding rounds, Novitio is designed around efficiency and fair competition. Anonymous bidding removes personal bias from the process, while buyers receive direct feedback on their position and a limited number of opportunities to improve their offer. The result is a more transparent marketplace where decisions are driven by commercial value rather than existing relationships.
Connecting the circular IT ecosystem
Today, Novitio connects organisations across approximately 50 countries, bringing together ITADs, leasing companies, resellers, brokers, traders, refurbishers and service providers within a single platform. The system also supports request-based sourcing, helping organisations connect supply and demand more efficiently across the circular IT ecosystem.
Future development includes advanced pricing intelligence, API integrations, AI-driven automation and white-label platform capabilities as the company works towards becoming the leading sales operating system for the global secondary IT market.
