GSMA launches Circularity Services with Closing the Loop and RGX. The new offering gives mobile operators access to solutions designed to extend device lifecycles, recover value and reduce e-waste, bringing together services from Closing the Loop and Recycle Global Exchange (RGX). Read more.

The EU introduces new rules to make the automotive sector more circular. The End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation promotes vehicle design for repair, reuse and easier dismantling, while strengthening producer responsibility and the recovery of critical raw materials. Read more.

Goldman Sachs Alternatives agrees to acquire reusable asset pooling leader Tosca. Tosca operates a circular pooling system for reusable containers, pallets and bulk bins across North American and European food supply chains. Ringy acquires refurbished electronics retailer UPGREAT. The deal combines Ringy’s recommerce platform with UPGREAT’s retail and in-house refurbishment operations, with plans to expand refurbishment capacity, trade-in, repair and resale infrastructure across the Baltics. Read more.

Kemira acquires REPUR to expand its circular water treatment portfolio. REPUR specialises in reactivating spent activated carbon for reuse across municipal and industrial water treatment applications. Read more.

Metal Morph raises £700,000 in pre-seed funding to advance circular water treatment technology. The startup recovers aluminium and iron-based treatment chemicals from wastewater for reuse, with partnerships already in place with six UK water utilities. Read more.
