Meta signs multi-year agreement with MacroCycle to support first commercial US facility. The deal will see Meta purchase environmental attribute credits linked to MacroCycle’s circular PET and polyester production, creating a revenue stream to help finance construction of the new plant. Read more.

Bridge Green and Hartree sign recycled lithium agreement valued at up to $1bn. The eight-year partnership will see Hartree purchase and market around 10,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate annually from Bridge Green facilities, with first volumes expected in 2028. Read more.

Amazon and Stella McCartney launch coalition to scale next-generation fashion materials. More than 60 companies have joined the initiative, which will aggregate demand and develop financing models to help recycled and next-generation materials move towards commercial scale. Read more.

M&S, New Look, Sainsbury’s and Oxfam join forces to build circular textile infrastructure. The retailers have partnered with Circle-8 to launch The Circuit, connecting textile recovery, automated sorting and pre-processing to create feedstock for fibre-to-fibre recycling. Read more.

Raylo surpasses $100m in ARR as electronics subscriptions scale. The company reports 60% year-on-year growth and more than 250,000 active customers, powering subscription programmes for global technology brands including Apple, HP, LG, Dyson and PlayStation. Read more.

BGB launches collection service to extend the life of wind turbine components. The service collects decommissioned slip rings and brush technologies for assessment, prioritising repair and remanufacturing while identifying components that may have been replaced prematurely. Read more.

Greyparrot AI identifies major aluminium recovery opportunity at NY facility. Analysis at Circular Services’ Brooklyn operation found around 91,000 aluminium cans per day could be recovered, with the companies now expanding trials of AI-powered waste intelligence at the site. Read more.

Market and Regional Developments:

South Korea and Hyundai launch pilot to recover rare-earth magnets from end-of-life vehicles. The programme aims to recover up to 15 tonnes of permanent magnets annually from around 14,000 scrapped EVs and hybrids, while establishing a domestic collection and recycling system for the critical materials. North America’s end-of-life mobile phones could hold $2.2bn in recoverable critical minerals by 2040. Ellen MacArthur Foundation research finds 50–70% of phones leaving first use already enter a second life, highlighting further opportunities across reuse, repair, refurbishment and material recovery. Cambodia launches $30m programme to build a more circular electronics economy. The five-year initiative will expand collection, repair, reuse and refurbishment activities, supported by a $4m GEF grant and approximately $26m in government and private-sector co-financing. Read more.

ReturnPro acquires iF Returns to expand international reach. The deal adds a platform serving more than 200 brands across Europe to ReturnPro’s reverse supply chain and recommerce capabilities, establishing a foundation for further international growth. Read more.

Circular Services acquires Re:Dish to expand into reuse. The Closed Loop Partners-backed company has added full-service reusable foodware programmes to its operations, with Re:Dish having already diverted more than nine million single-use items from landfill. Read more.

EMCO signs $13.2m LOI to acquire battery lifecycle specialist Blackion. The proposed all-stock transaction would add Blackion’s reverse logistics, feedstock origination and lifecycle management capabilities to EMCO’s growing critical materials platform. Read more.

MUD Jeans relaunched under new ownership following bankruptcy. N5 Holding acquired the circular denim brand’s assets for €255,000, with operations now continuing through a newly established company backed by N5 and Horizon Corporation. Read more.

Vaulted Deep secures $35m to expand organic waste infrastructure across the US. The debt facility will support new sites that permanently store hard-to-manage organic waste underground, with contracted carbon removal revenues helping underpin the financing. Read more.
