Member Showcase: Reuse Technology Group

Combining London’s Geographic Advantage with Technology-Driven Asset Recovery and Reuse.

Established in 2008 and operating from East London, Reuse Technology Group (RTG) combines rapid collection capabilities with proprietary technology, AI-powered pricing and environmental reporting to help organisations maximise the value of retired technology assets.

London is home to a significant concentration of financial institutions, multinational businesses, technology companies and professional services organisations, creating substantial demand for secure and efficient circular technology services. RTG is strategically positioned to serve this market, offering collections within 24 hours across the capital and 48 hours nationwide.

Its customer base spans central government, financial services, private equity, real estate, managed IT services and digital transformation, with services covering secure data erasure, refurbishment, redeployment, resale and recycling.

As CEO Emeka Nwadike explains, "We're not simply disposing of IT equipment. We're redefining what a modern circular technology partnership should look like."

Proprietary Technology and Asset-Level Transparency

RTG has developed three interconnected proprietary platforms to manage the IT asset disposition process. ReuseOS oversees inventory, accounting and asset lifecycles, while Reuse Connect provides customers with real-time asset tracking, collection bookings and financial and environmental reporting. Reuse Price Track uses AI-powered pricing and live secondary-market data to maximise residual asset values.

Together, these technologies provide serial-level visibility from collection through data erasure, grading and final disposition, supported by individual certificates and chain-of-custody records. RTG's operations are underpinned by ADISA 8.0, NIST 800-88-aligned erasure processes and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 credentials, while its platforms support integration with existing enterprise systems.

Maximising the Financial Value of Retired Technology

Through live secondary-market valuations, RTG helps organisations identify opportunities to recover value from retired equipment through buyback, refurbishment and redeployment, with pricing visible through Reuse Connect.

The company also supplies graded, warranted refurbished technology at prices typically 30–50% below equivalent new equipment, with a one-year warranty on every device, helping customers reduce procurement expenditure while extending product lifecycles.

Quantifying the Environmental Benefits of Reuse

RTG provides quarterly environmental reporting covering estimated carbon emissions, water consumption and critical mineral impacts avoided through reuse and recycling.

According to company figures, refurbishing a laptop avoids an average of 285kg of CO₂e, compared with 92kg through recycling, highlighting the environmental advantages of extending technology lifecycles.

Through its partnership with Rejoose, RTG also provides audited carbon footprint and material recovery reporting for refurbished hardware shipments, giving customers measurable data to support sustainability reporting and procurement decisions.
